Ayurvedic Spa Launched in United Arab Emirates

(Ayushveda.com) - The Indian alternative medicine system of Ayurveda has recently taken one more step in its global expansion. This time, the United Arab Emirates has evinced interest in the Ayurvedic medicinal system. The plush Emirates hotel, Kempinski Hotel Mall, has launched its own Ayurvedic spa, just a year after the inauguration of the hotel itself.

This new Ayurvedic spa has been named as the Softouch Spa claims to be one of the best in the world. It has seven elaborate rooms dedicated to treatments on Ayurvedic lines. In these rooms, all of the traditionally Indian Ayurvedic therapies such as the panchakarma, jalodhara, shirodhara and even the therapies of yoga and pranayama are being utilized for treatment of the clients. Not only are the methods of Ayurvedic treatment used in the Softouch Spa traditional, but there are also several brands of international standards being incorporated into the healing methods. One of the very popular international products in use is the range of natural beauty and body treatments from the Ligne St. Barth collection, inspired from the Caribbeans.

Hence, the spa at the Kempinski Hotel Mall is more than an Ayurvedic spa. Along with treatments on Ayurvedic principles, there is also a focus on treatment through hydrotherapy and aromatherapy, using products of international standing.

Even the staff selected at Softouch has been recruited with great care. At the helm of affairs is the Indian based doctor, Dr. V. L. Shyam, who has had an experience in prescribing Ayurvedic treatments for the past fifteen years. The other staff has been selected taking into account their special abilities so that each of them can cater to the many aspects that are incorporated into the world of Ayurveda.

Softouch Spa operated within the Kempinski Hotel Mall, but there are also plans afoot to provide the Ayurvedic treatments to the general public of Dubai . In this manner, Softouch is planning on popularizing Ayurveda as a concept on foreign shores.

This menu focuses on a total rejuvenation therapy for their clients, which comprise of the guests of the hotel, the travelers and tourists, business and corporate clients, and even the general public of the city. This menu has several alternatives to remove the stress from the minds and bodies of their clients and give them the zest to face life better. The spa does not plan to stop there. It wishes to expand its operations on a global scale.
